Hi. I'm not really good with writing STUFF about me. I usually just end up rambling and saying insignificant stuff. Just like what I'm doing right now, explaining this to you. But anyway, I'm just a simple girl, living in this bizarre place called MANILA. I've been living my life since the year 1994. I've been blogging my heart away for about three years now, and I'm loving it, so far. I am now currently a college student in De La Salle University taking up International Studies major in European studies. You should know that my blog isn't the best one here, but I do hope that this blog would make you smile and make you know more about my life at least once in a while.

Blue Valentine

Since I had no school today, I decided to watch Blue Valentine. I’ve been wanting to watch it for a long time now, but I just keep forgetting. And now that I had time to spare, I was glad that I actually watched it.

I don’t want to spoil it or anything, but it’s a movie about two people who fell in-love and they went through so much things. In the end, let’s just say that sometimes, things don’t always work out the way you want them to.

The movie taught me a lesson. It showed me that even if you love the person so much, no matter how much you fight for it, once your partner falls out of love, working the whole relationship out alone, just seems impossible. Another thing would be that, yes. Indeed, it IS possible to fall out of love. Though it hurts to accept things, you have to realize that you also have to love yourself. And if you know in your heart, that you did everything to make it work, and yet it still didn’t… You shouldn’t blame yourself for it. And the only choice you have left, is to love yourself and leave.

As for the actors, Ryan Gosling as usual, was just amazing in this movie. As for Michelle Williams, I would have to say that she portrayed her character well. She didn’t really stand-out as a character for me, though.

The movie’s quite depressing. My mood actually went down after watching it. But I guess it only proves how great of a movie this is. Because it moved me and my emotions.

I just want to say, love is a powerful thing. However, you also have to know that love isn’t always enough.
